Investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting, is a high-precision casting process with remarkable advantages: it features high dimensional accuracy, tight tolerances and excellent surface finish, without parting lines or flash, and can produce complex, thin-walled metal components that are difficult to achieve by other processes.
Casting Size & Specifications:
• Weight Range: Typically from 0.1 kg to 100 kg per single casting.
• Dimension Range: Suitable for parts generally up to 600mm.
• Wall Thickness: Can achieve thin walls down to 1.0 mm - 1.5 mm.
